In this role, you will oversee WAN, LAN, and VPN, ensuring secure and high-performance network operations across the Baltic region. You will lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of complex networking environments, balancing technical expertise with strategic leadership to drive innovation, automation, and continuous improvement.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Network Reliability & Availability: Ensure 24/7 network service reliability by analyzing incidents, performing root cause analysis, and driving continuous improvements.
• Infrastructure Optimization: Enhance network performance and availability by implementing Software-Defined Networking (SDN) principles and proactive monitoring.
• Capacity Planning & Scalability: Plan network capacity and develop a roadmap that aligns with evolving business needs, including cloud and hybrid networking strategies.
• Disaster Recovery (DR) & Redundancy: Develop, test, and implement network DR plans to ensure business continuity.
• Network Security & Access Control: Implement 802.1x authentication, VPN security, and firewall management (Palo Alto, Fortinet). Enforce best security practices to protect against threats.
• Network Architecture & Service Innovation: Participate in new service architecture planning, defining network requirements, and integrating SD-WAN, VLAN segmentation, and wireless solutions.
• Automation & Monitoring: Define monitoring and alerting specifications using Zabbix and automate network tasks to improve efficiency.
• Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Lead knowledge-sharing initiatives, mentor Level 1 support, and coordinate with external vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery.

What You Bring to the Team:

• Networking Expertise: Deep understanding of underlay and overlay networking, VLAN segmentation, and routing protocols (IPv4, TCP, UDP, ARP, STP, DHCP, BGP, VRF).
• Network Configuration & Management: Hands-on experience with LAN, WAN, Wireless, and SD-WAN technologies across enterprise environments.
• Security & Firewalls: Strong expertise in firewall management (Palo Alto, Fortinet), VPN security, and Web Application Firewalls (F5 WAF).
• Wireless Networking & Access Control: Experience with Aruba networking solutions (APs, switches, Airwave, ClearPass) and 802.1x authentication.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Familiarity with Zabbix for proactive service monitoring and troubleshooting network performance issues.
• Cloud Networking (a strong plus): Exposure to hybrid cloud networking, Azure/AWS networking, and SDN technologies.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English (written & spoken).
• Mobility: Readiness to travel within the Baltic region.
