Procurement Specialist

  • 1.400 - 1.900 EUR pre-tax The final offer will greatly depend on candidate’s experience and professional skills.
  • Responsibilities • Identify suppliers of goods and services, then process and execute Non-Disclosure Agreements. • Prepare and issue Request For Proposal (RFP) documents for the goods and services. • Manage RFP process from issuing related documents to receiving bids, preparing bid summaries and bid analysis (responsiveness to RFP's, consider factors such as commercial terms and conditions, price, delivery, financial status, technical capability, quality control and geographical location of shipping point). • Responsible for all aspects of purchase order management (negotiate prices, quality of goods, delivery times and terms with suppliers to achieve maximum overall cost effectiveness. • Liaise with suppliers and project managers regarding updates and details of goods. • Create purchase orders/contracts and tally these with supply requests and orders. • Identify and qualify new suppliers and/or subcontractors and prepare documentation to add them to the approved supplier list. • Work in close collaboration and actively communicate with internal team members on details of the procurement tasks, realistic delivery dates, monitoring of purchased items, expediting orders as needed to meet business needs and schedules. • Collaborate with Logistics personnel and analyze related invoices and coordinate with site team to ensure accuracy of goods/services delivered. • Identify and realize cost saving opportunities to achieve cost reduction targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management or related field; 5+ years relevant work experience may be substitute for degree requirement • Proven 3+ years experience working as a procurement specialist is required. • Experience working with evaluations of scopes, specifications, evaluation criteria and purchasing documents a plus. • Must be able to understand, and communicate in English language and have professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with international suppliers/vendors. • Very good negotiation and problem-solving skills and must be able to motivate suppliers/ vendors to produce quality information within tight timeframes. • Flexible to work long hours as demanded by projects and experience in Microsoft Office applications. • Able to work independently and if required to travel to meet vendors and suppliers as necessary.
