- Obtain competitive quotations for hotel requirements and ensure that the best product is sourced and purchased, using Group Nominated suppliers where applicable - Ensure locally Nominated supplier information is kept current - Manage the database of active local contracts with suppliers - Adhere to quality procedures and standards - Maintain a record of commitments for all budgets and ensure that the relevant managers are constantly informed of updates - Ensure a comprehensive system for allocating and reconciling purchase orders - Manage relationships with hotel suppliers and report on their performance - Monitor all areas of purchasing including contracts, leases and nominations - Accept and control all incoming goods in respect of volume and quantity

- Previous experience in a purchasing/procurement - Proven financial knowledge and ability to work with budgets - High communication and negotiation skills - Good time management and organisation skills - Advanced MS Excel knowledge - Accountable and resilient - Fluency in Latvian; good knowledge of English
About the Company
Hilton Garden Inn Riga Old Town is the very first Hilton World Wide hotel in Latvia's capital Riga. Hotel is located in the center of Riga's historic old town. The site of the hotel is almost adjacent to the city's most famous building, known as the House of Blackheads, which is a popular meeting and concert venue as well as the current official residence of the Latvian President. Both the historic 15th century St Peters Church and the banks of the Daugava River are only a short walk away. The hotel building has 5 floors, spacious 100 rooms (at the initial phase) and it will have 175 rooms in the following year, 95 sq. m. meeting space, open, inviting lobby, "Beef Room“ Restaurant & Bar, 24h Shop, free self-laundry service, fitness center and the underground parking.
