Since 2017, Continental is active in Lithuania and is currently shaping the greenfield into a state-of-the-art electronics plant. Kaunas is one of more than 300 Continental locations worldwide. Kaunas plant is producing components for door, seat and intelligent glass control as well as radar sensors and processing platforms for highly automated driving.
Opening of the Plant Kaunas happened in October, 2019. Currently, Continental Kaunas has around 250 employees and plans to increase that number to 1000 employees by the end of 2023 .
